For Ainge and the Celtics How Many More Pieces Needed To complete the puzzle?

With phase one of the Celtic rebuilding plan underway Celtic fans have to wonder how many more pieces are needed to complete the puzzle before the Celtics can win a division championship. That’s an answer know body knows. One thing is for certain it won’t be anytime soon. This years team is playing pretty similar to last years team. Playing tough for three quarters only finding ways to lose with seconds left. This years core of Kelly O’lynyk, Marcus Smartand Jared Sullenger  are slowly coming together. They’re surrounded by veterans Gerald Wallace, Avery Bradley,Brandon Bass and Marcus Thornton. Out of the Three Bass probably brings the most value. He plays every game like it’s his last Marcus Thornton is a spark off the bench. Gerald Wallace leads by example and is a good locker room guy which is important or a young team. As for Bradley he’s the teams best defensive player. This team unlike the Celtics teams of the glory years of the eighties which had a nucleus of Bird, McHale and Parrish they to were surrounded by classy veterans such as  Greg Kite,ML Carr,Quinn Buckner and Gerald Henerson. These players knew their role ell and executed them to perfection.Second year head coach Brad Stevens is learning what life is like for an NBA head coach. Any wrong decision could cost the Celtics the game or even worse his job. KC Jones was the Celtics coach for two of three championships back then . He was old school and related very well to his players. Stevens shows good communication skills with all his players . One thing is for sure GM Danny Ainge is not afraid to pull the trigger to make a deal.Something he learned from his old boss Red Auerbach.
