Jonas Gray has learned a valuable lesson this week. You can be on top one day and back down on the bottom of the pile the next day. Its called Belichick’s way. You can ask Randy Moss, Aquib Talib that and they’ll tell you it’s Belichick’s way or no way. Moss was late for practice in 2007 and sent home. As was Talib last year. Theirs no excuse for being late when your making that kind of money. It’s also unprofessional to show up late when everyone else is on time. The SI cover boy last week is back just being one of the boys. The Pat’s claimed old friend Lagarrette Blount off waivers from Pittsburgh early last week. Gray didn’t even get a snap. Blount is a power runner who can return both punts and kickoff returns. Gray is more of a finesse runner who is quick and hits his holes. Retired Patriots Teddy Bruschi, Rodney Harrison and Troy Brown all understand the Patriot way. They all were Super Bowl rings by understanding the Patriot way works. It takes time but it works it’s been almost ten years since they’ve won their last Super Bowl. It’s not who you are but how well you understand the Patriot way.
